This fishing magnet is a neodymium pot magnet equipped with a steel housing.
This housing shields the magnetic field at the top, which also increases the pulling force. Nickel-plated.

Note: Allow children to use the magnet only under the supervision of an adult. 

During magnet fishing, mud and silt will affect the pulling force.
If you fish up a round metal object, the pulling force will also be less because the magnet cannot fully attach.
