Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) magnets

Samarium-cobalt magnets (SmCo) are more expensive than other magnetic materials due to their high cobalt content. SmCo magnets are only slightly susceptible to oxidation and show good resistance to chemicals. Due to their high energy density (about 30-40% less than NdFeB magnets), they can generate high holding forces. They are suitable for temperatures from -40°C to +350°C.
