Ferrite pot magnets with a through-hole are widely used in the furniture industry, machinery, shipbuilding, interior design, and advertising. Because the magnet is secured with a bolt, the front contact surface remains completely flush. This makes them ideal for applications requiring a permanent, stainless mounting that is also easily interchangeable.

Optimal mounting and heat resistance

Thanks to the RVS 4016 stainless steel housing, these magnets are more resistant to chemicals. They are the standard choice for installations where neodymium magnets fail due to high temperatures (up to 220 °C) or moisture. Mechanical fixation is the most solid method, preventing play and ensuring optimal resistance against vibrations.

The pot magnet principle: How it works

In a ferrite pot magnet, the core is encased in a stainless steel housing on one side. This concentrates the magnetic field on one side, significantly increasing the holding force. Note: Maximum holding force is only achieved with direct contact with a thick, smooth, and ferromagnetic surface. Air gaps or paint layers will reduce holding force. When mounted on a wall, note that the shear force (lateral load) is approx. 15–20% of the nominal holding force.
