Type: SAV 240.50. Disk magnet made of Samarium Cobalt (SmCo5), not shielded, very powerful. Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) magnets can be used in a variety of applications. In terms of clamping force, these magnets are comparable to Neodymium magnets, but can be used at temperatures up to 200°C (Neodymium only 80°C). This is why SmCo magnets are often used in dies.
